Kabuki Tour April 2007
As official sponsors of the Kabuki performances at the Sadler's
Wells Theatre 31 May - 11 June 2006, we are very proud to offer this
new tour for 2007.
It includes the best of Japan and features a unique Kabuki performance
in a historic temple on the island of Shikoku. It is suitable for newcomers
to Japan and also those who prefer more comfortable travel. It follows
a leisurely pace with two to four night stays in first class accommodation
at each location. Your luggage is sent by courier between each hotel so
you are free to relax and enjoy the finer points of the culture.
Once a year Japan's most famous Kabuki actors leave the stage in the
city to perform at Kotohira in Japan's oldest Kabuki theatre. It is set
in a traditional temple on a hill overlooking the surrounding villages
and valleys. This timing of this tour will also allow you to marvel at
the glorious cherry blossom throughout our travels.
All details in the schedule and hotel accommodation will be reconfirmed
60 days before departure.
